Tips for Managing Nausea
Some people may experience nausea while starting Tyvenza (Semaglutide) or increasing their dose. If you experience nausea, here are some general nausea tips that you might find helpful:

Tyvenza (Semaglutide) should be taken once a week, on the same day every week, at any time of the day. Tyvenza (Semaglutide) may be taken with or without food. You may change the day of the week you take Tyvenza (Semaglutide), as long as your last dose was taken 3 or more days before.
After injecting Tyvenza exactly as instructed, some people may experience some bleeding at the injection site. Press on the area lightly with a gauze pad or cotton ball. Do not rub the area.
You may inject under the skin of your stomach/abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Be sure to change the injection site after each weekly injection, and do not use the same site for each injection. Talk to your health care professional about any irritation or reaction at the injection site that bothers you or doesn’t go away.
